Preparing for Sunday

As Sunday is approaching, take some time to prepare your heart and mind to worship God when we gather together as a church family. Below you will find some of the details of our upcoming worship gathering. Our hope is that it will allow you to know what to expect and help you to better engage and participate with us, towards the ultimate goal of encouraging your joy and faith in Jesus.

Psalm 62:5-8
Let all that I am wait quietly before God, for my hope is in him. He alone is my rock and my salvation, my fortress where I will not be shaken. My victory and honor come from God alone. He is my refuge, a rock where no enemy can reach me. O my people, trust in him at all times. Pour out your heart to him, for God is our refuge.

The Valley of Vision | Continual Repentance
O God of Grace, you have transferred our debt of sin to Christ, and have imputed his righteousness to our soul, clothing us with a bridegroom’s robe, dressing us with jewels of holiness.
But in our Christian walk we are still in rags; our best prayers are stained with sin; our penitential tears are so much impurity; our confessions of wrong are so many aggravations of sin; our receiving the Spirit is spoiled with selfishness.
We need to repent of our repentance; we need our tears to be washed; We have no robe to bring to cover our sins, no loom to weave our own righteousness; but by grace are always receiving new garments, for you always justify the ungodly;
Grant us never to lose sight of the exceeding sinfulness of sin, the exceeding righteousness of salvation, the exceeding glory of Christ, the exceeding beauty of holiness, the exceeding wonder of grace.
Lamentations 3:22-23

Hebrews 13:20-21
Now may the God of peace—who brought up from the dead our Lord Jesus, the great Shepherd of the sheep, and ratified an eternal covenant with his blood—may he equip us with all you need for doing his will. May he produce in us, through the power of Jesus Christ, every good thing that is pleasing to him. All glory to him forever and ever! Amen.
